When I was invited a few years ago to give a TEDx talk, I jumped at the chance like a tall flea on a short dog. I knew it would be the opportunity of a lifetime, and I was determined to write the talk of my life.

I feel like I did just that, and apparently so do the folks at TED. They have selected my talk to move from their Youtube channel, to their website proper. If all this means nothing to you, and you think TED is an old boyfriend of mine, just trust me. It’s a very good thing.

Please help me spread the word using all of the amazing social media tools at your disposal. Tweet, recommend it on facebook, launch your best carrier pigeon. I want my message to reach out. I meant it to fly (see carrier pigeon).
